Welcome to Tai Chi Crewe

My name is Jamie Waddington. I have been practicing Chen Style Tai Chi for about 6 years. I began under the tutelage of Master Wan Hai-Jun and then moved over to lessons with Mark Guggiari. I have also practiced Shaolin Kung Fu and Lau Gar Kung Fu. I am also a practicing Chan Buddhist.

Tai Chi is an amazing system of exercises that have been used by millions for hundreds of years. The benefits are countless but you can expect regular practice to help lower your blood pressure, stimulate the central nervous system and relieve stress. The rhythmical movements gently tone muscles without strain while massaging the internal organs to improve their function, enhancing digestion and the elimination of wastes and toxins.

Tai Chi also develops flexibility, increasing strength of lower limbs to improve balance and since the movements are performed while standing assist in bone formation and strengthening that helps to prevent the onset of osteoporosis. It can also be practised by any one at any level and at any age.
